We’re hiring for a Welder Fabricator to join a creative manufacturing team based in Ashton-under-Lyne.

Working with high-quality materials and projects, this role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled fabricator to contribute to a variety of innovative and bespoke builds.

* £14 – £17 per hour

* Monday – Friday 8:00am – 6:00pm

* 20 days holiday (plus bank holidays)

What will you be doing as a Welder Fabricator?

* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and material/cutting lists

* Assembling and fabricating parts to precise specifications

* Using MIG & TIG welding techniques to weld various materials, including mild steel and alloys (1.5mm - 3mm)

* Operating a variety of fabrication machinery and tools to ensure accurate and efficient fabrication

* Assisting with the fitting and finishing of bespoke assemblies

What do you need?

* Experience in both MIG & TIG welding

* Experience in assembling and fabricating parts to precise specifications

* Familiar with operating lathes

* The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

* Apprenticeship or a recognised engineering qualification (desirable)
