We are currently recruiting a transport Administrator/Planner who are looking for a new team member due to company growth.
Transport Admin/Planning job supporting a busy and vibrant transport team.
Main duties include but not limited to:
Liaise with customers taking orders and booking loads
Route planning for full loads
Source return loads
Review driver routes and plan to maximise efficiency
Keep all customers informed of deliveries
Provide drivers with all necessary instructions and documents for their daily schedules
POD administration
Invoicing admin
Ensuring every customer receives excellent customer service
We are looking for an industry professional who is pro active, well organised with excellent communications skills able to deal effectively with both drivers and customers.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an office or logistics environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Outlook and Excel
- Ability to drive and possess a valid driver's license
- Leadership skills to effectively manage transportation operations
