EYFS/Primary SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Grantham
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £83.33 - £95.00 per day

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? GSL Education is looking for a committed and compassionate EYFS/Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive SEN school in Grantham.

This is a full-time position, initially temporary, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. We’re looking for someone who can start as soon as possible and is ready to make a real difference in the lives of children with diverse and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide dedicated support to children in the EYFS and Primary phase with SEN.
Collaborate with the class teacher to deliver tailored learning plans.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Assist with personal care (if required) and encourage independence.
Offer one-on-one or small group support and help manage the classroom.
Requirements:

Previous experience working with children with SEN, ideally in an EYFS or Primary setting.
A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to supporting children’s learning and development.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A strong commitment to creating a safe and nurturing learning environment.
An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or a willingness to obtain one).
This role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful applicants must meet all safer recruitment checks, including a relevant enhanced DBS.
