What is the role?

As a valued member of our Finance team, the Management Accountant assists the Financial Controller in ensuring that the business is constantly in good financial control, as well as assisting in the production of accounts for reporting to the board and wider business.

What are the Duties and Responsibilities?​

* Compile monthly management accounts for the Group

* Complete routine accounting duties

* Compile monthly management accounts for the Group including stock audit and calculation, WIP calculations and reporting, Wage reconciliation and journals, Accruals & Prepayments

* Overheads analysis

* Monthly review and reporting including balance sheet reconciliations

* Daily on-line banking, posting of transactions onto M1 finance system

* M1 finance system administration and month end close procedure

* Creation of monthly TVSG HR pack

* Maintenance of fixed asset registers for SB and Priden Engineering

* Production of weekly KPI and Cashflow reports for TVSG

* Posting credit card payments to ledger.

* Intercompany recharge calculation, journals and reconciliation.

* ONS, VAT, P11D, PAYE and NI returns and processes for SB Components (International) Ltd

* Maintain Capex schedule for TVSG

What qualifications or experience will you need?

Ideally you will have at least 4 years’ experience in a similar role within an engineering or manufacturing based company. A background in stock, purchasing and materials analysis is preferred, along with knowledge of WIP calculations and cashflow reports.

Qualification to ACCA or CIMA level is essential.
