Accounts Receivable Specialist
Our Client is looking for a skilled accounts receivables specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of their organisation, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Company – As a UKs specialist in engineering valves and maintenance services, covering all sectors including food & beverage, power generation and cement. A family run business covering a nationwide for over 30 years.

Wage: £26,000 - £36,000 (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 08.30 – 17.00 (includes 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
Holidays: 20 days + bank holidays
Working Requirements: Office

Requirement Overview- 5+ years internal accounting responsible for bringing all ledgers up to trial balance stage.

This includes:

* performing sales ledger reconciliation.

* Performing all bank nominal account reconciliation.

* Payroll tasks

* Quarterly VAT reporting (a must)

* Quarterly Accruals & Deferral reporting

* 5 years accounting software experience

* Qualification at least AAT level 4 qualified, or equivalent qualification or by experience.

* Using customer Intranets / systems for invoicing & payment applications

* Credit Control

* Report directly to the directors of the company

Skills:
- Experienced in Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Proficient in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
- Experience in accounts receivable, financial management, and accounting principles
- Ability to implement cost control measures effectively
- Knowledge of financial services industry trends and regulations
- Good communicator
