Site Manager – Residential Groundworks
Location: Derby, East Midlands
Salary: Up to £80,000 including package

SITE MANAGER, RESIDENTIAL GROUNDWORKS, CAREER OPPORTUNITY, UP TO £80,000 P.A PLUS PACKAGE

Job Overview:
This Site Manager Role will see the successful applicant being responsible for overseeing the daily operations on-site, ensuring that groundworks projects are executed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. They will manage site staff, subcontractors, and ensure compliance with industry standards, client specifications and health & safety regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Project Management.
- Lead and manage civil engineering and groundworks projects from inception to completion.
- Monitor and coordinate all on-site activities, including excavation, foundations, drainage and utilities installation.
- Ensure adherence to the project plan, specifications and timeline.
- Manage and supervise direct labour, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Review drawings and plans to understand project requirements.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in site management, ideally within groundworks.
- Strong knowledge of groundworks (excavation, foundations, drainage, earthworks) and groundworks practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong understanding of construction health and safety standards.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office applications.

Remuneration:
Up to £80,000 p,a plus package
