Area to be covered: London & South East

Remuneration: £46,000 + £9,500 bonus

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Garage & Front Doors will involve:

* Area Sales Manager position selling a comprehensive range of high quality manufactured range of garage and front doors for example: up & over doors, sliding doors, roller doors, front doors

* All of your time will be spent selling into national merchants, regional merchants, independent merchants, buying groups, developers, specialist garage & door merchants and wholesalers such as: Elliots, Travis Perkins & Jewson

* Inheriting a patch currently turning £3m-£4m

* Dealing with order values ranging from around £1k - £60k

* Majority of your time will be spent managing existing accounts, with the remaining portion spent generating new business relationships

* Organising your own diary and visits in order to develop relationships with merchants

* Liaising with internal support staff and marketing team to maximise sales within your territory

* Will require on average 1 night away a week

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Garage & Front Doors with:

* Must have field based sales within the construction industry

* Will consider any building material / product background

* Must have a track record of working for or selling to builders merchants whether it be; national merchants, independent merchants, specialist merchants and ideally specialist wholesalers

* Would consider someone working in a merchant looking to step into field sales

* Experience of developing long term relationships with clients

* Track record of stability within your career

* Genuine ‘get up and go’ work ethic

* Results orientated, hungry and enthusiastic
