The contract is set to run for an initial 12 months paying around £60-65p/h OUTSIDE IR35. No office presence or dangerous structures required.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide guidance to the public on the requirements of Building Regulations and related laws.

Review and process complex applications in accordance with Building Regulations, while liaising with applicants and offering expert advice to draft determinations.

Conduct inspections to verify compliance with statutory standards, collaborating with specialist colleagues as needed.

Experience:

Extensive experience in building control, specifically related to fire safety and structural integrity.

Proven experience in liaising with key stakeholders.

Strong understanding of Building Regulations, particularly in relation to both standard and large, complex projects.

Ability to perform under pressure, meeting deadlines within demanding timeframes and with limited resources.

Strong customer service skills, offering specialist planning advice to clients.

Team-oriented experience, contributing effectively in collaborative environments.

Proven ability to assist and negotiate with design teams and major stakeholders to ensure compliance with Building Regulations and related legislation.
