Regional Sales Manager – Europe
Location: London, with regular travel in the region
Sector: Aerospace / Freight Forwarding
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead UK and European sales teams, driving growth and meeting company targets.
* Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
* Identify and convert profitable sales opportunities, managing both personal and team performance.
* Build and maintain a prospect pipeline to ensure new business onboarding.
* Conduct customer visits, attend trade shows, and represent the company professionally.
* Regularly forecast sales revenue and manage the sales pipeline through reviews.
* Re-engage with lost or down-trading customers where potential is identified.
* Oversee successful onboarding of new clients, ensuring smooth transition and contract management.
* Ensure customer data, contracts, and rate cards are correctly uploaded and managed.
* Manage RFPs/RFQs, collaborating with internal teams to maximize success.
* Review pricing proposals and ensure they meet company standards before approval.
* Mentor and manage the internal CS team, setting goals and monitoring performance.
* Support in preparing quotes and proposals, ensuring alignment with company margins.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance brand visibility through social media and promotional materials.
* Identify new sales channels, expand into the aerospace vertical, and develop customer solutions.
* Present business capabilities to both customers and internal stakeholders.
* Keep up to date with market trends and competitor activity, providing recommendations for strategic adjustments.
* Actively contribute to monthly regional calls with executive leadership.
Required Skills:
* Proven sales leadership experience within aerospace logistics or freight forwarding.
* Track record in driving sales growth and managing high-performing sales teams.
* Strong communication skills (plus German and Spanish preferably), with the ability to influence and motivate.
* Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the ability to analyze data and present solutions.
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience in RFP/RFQ processes and contract management.
* Regular travel required across the region.
