Job Title: Physical Education (PE) Teacher

Location: Southampton

Start date: September 2024

Salary: £125-£195 a day

TeacherActive is proud and excited to be recruiting for a PE teacher to work within mainstream secondary school based in and around the Southampton West area. The schools provide a very high standard of education and have a ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ OFSTED rating. All schools provide modern facilities and been extended and upgraded within the last few years and are a pleasure to work at. This role at present is for 3 days a week, Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays.

They are looking to take on very ambitious and driven PE teacher to add to their already talented staffing team. You will be working across Key stage 3 / KS3 and Key stage 4 / KS4 including exam preparation for GCSE’s and improving general education. This fantastic role will be a major part in helping students not only improve but achieving excellent results. This role will also progress your career as a PE Teacher. You must have a valid DBS on the update service or willing to do a new DBS with us and provide references.

The successful English Teacher will have:

QTS with PE or similar specialism (ECT’s are also welcome)
Experience teaching up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
Excellent and thorough classroom management
Good with Information Technology (I.T)
