Our client, a specialist in electrical control systems and automation for a wide range of industries and sectors is currently looking to hire a Field Service Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical cabinet manufacture, installation and on-site commissioning or breakdown support of complex automation control systems.
 
The Field Service Engineer will:

Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements.
Work in accordance with relevant standards e.g. ISO9001 Quality Management Systems.
Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients support tickets.
Schedule and coordinate tasks to meet tight deadlines with all stakeholders.
Manage on-site delivery and commissioning of projects.  
The Field Service Engineer will have:

Bachelor's degree (BEng/BSc) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or HNC/HND is ideal.
3 years’ experience in Electrical Installation and Commissioning works/maintenance roles
A good understanding of industrial automation principles, electrical design, instrumentation and process control.
Experience with Siemens TIA portal/RS Logix would be ideal but can be taught.
Familiarity with safety standards and regulations related to automation systems (e.g. Machinery Directive, IEC 61508).
Ability to build strong relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite.
