An opportunity has arisen for a CNC Miller to join a well-known manufacturer of high-end products on a permanent basis. Along with a salary of up to £34,476 per annum, you will receive 30 days holiday including stats, early finish 12pm on Fridays, free onsite parking and ongoing training and development.

The company are a well-established manufacturer of high-end products in the Halifax area and are looking to for an experienced CNC Miller to join them due to continued growth.

The CNC Miller will be responsible for:

Setting and operating a number of multi axis machining centres
Programming from scratch and editing (Siemens and Haas controls)
Working directly from engineering drawings
Advising on possible means of process improvement within the machine shop and other areas of the company
The CNC Miller will have:

IDEAL NOT ESSENTIAL: Formal qualifications within a relevant discipline, Mechanical Engineering/Machining (Apprenticeship, NVQ, BTEC, City & Guilds Level 3 etc.)
Worked as a CNC Miller, Machinist Engineer, or Technician previously within a precision engineering or machine shop environment
The ability of independently programming using ISO or conversational controls
What is offer to the CNC Miller:

Salary £34,476 per annum
7.30am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 12.30pm finish Friday
Overtime available at time and a half
30 days holiday including bank holidays
Staff discount of upto 40% on company products
