Class 1 Drivers Wanted

Belkavitz Sloan is recruiting on behalf of a leading logistics client, seeking Class 1 Drivers for immediate start at their Bothwell Depot. This role involves the delivery of palletised goods throughout Scotland and England, using a modern fleet of vehicles. We have a range of shift patterns available, including day shifts, night trunking (both single and double-manned), and tramping. Depending on operational requirements, occasional overnight stays may be necessary.

What’s on Offer:

* Immediate start dates

* Competitive pay rates starting from £17 per hour, plus bonuses

* Full-time hours, paid weekly

* Permanent role, subject to satisfactory references and successful completion of a probationary period

* 28 days of paid leave per annum (pro rata)

Essential Requirements for the Role:

* Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence: You must hold a full Class 1 (C+E) driving licence, allowing you to operate heavy goods vehicles (HGV) in the UK.

* Digital Tachograph Card: Required for tracking driving hours and ensuring compliance with legal limits.

* Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC): Up-to-date CPC qualification is mandatory, as it demonstrates your ability to drive professionally and safely.

* Clean Driving Record: A maximum of 6 penalty points is permitted, with no DD (Drink Driving), DR (Dangerous Driving), or IN (Insurance) endorsements on your licence.

* Knowledge of UK Road Networks: Strong geographic knowledge of Scotland and England is crucial for efficient route planning and delivery.
