Perform regular maintenance, repair, and testing of electrical systems and equipment in a critical environment.
Respond promptly to any system faults, providing effective troubleshooting and repair to minimize downtime.
Conduct scheduled PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance on electrical assets, including UPS systems, generators, and HV/LV distribution systems.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of critical environment protocols.
Support system upgrades, refurbishments, and project installations as required.
Monitor and report on performance metrics, safety inspections, and environmental conditions, ensuring all relevant documentation is complete.
Collaborate with other team members to develop and improve preventive maintenance procedures and critical environment best practices.Qualifications and Experience
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation/Maintenance.
City & Guilds 18th Edition or equivalent certification.
Experience working in a critical environment, such as data centres, hospitals, or secure facilities.
Strong knowledge of high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) systems, UPS, and standby power generators.
Ability to work under pressure and resolve complex electrical issues quickly and effectively.
Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations in critical environments.
