A&G Resourcing Ltd is looking for numbers of HGV Class 2 drivers for our prestigious client based in Reading.
We are looking for candidates with ‘can do’ attitude, who will be willing to load and unload furniture at collection and delivery and take on some other jobs when necessary. Primary works are commercial relocations with corporate clients so mostly moving office furniture.
Ongoing work available.
Monday-Friday (with some weekends availability)
AM shifts (early start times)
£16/h with 8 hours guaranteed
£20/h overtimes and Saturdays and Sundays
You must have:
* HGV Licence and full CPC
* Digital tachograph card
* Good knowledge of driving rules and regulations
* Enthusiastic and driven individual
* Physically fit due to nature of the job
* No more than 6points due to Insurance
* At least 6months experience due to Insurance.
Responsibilities:
* Daily vehicle checks and reporting of defects.
* Follow Health & Safety regulation.
* Perform duties in a safe manner.
* Use all equipment provided in accordance with safe working practices.
* Loading and unloading
* Helping group of porters on the jobs
