Salary Guide: To £25,000 - £29,000 PA
Location: Harwich
Permanent Position
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm; Friday, 8:30 am - 3:45 pm

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Engineer to join established contract packaging company. This role involves working closely with production line equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality output. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach to machine setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting, with a focus on improving production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Setting up and operating a range of equipment, filling, labelling and shrink sleeving machines.
Responding to breakdowns
Monitoring line efficiencies
Machine maintenance
Operating various production machines
Undertaking all production tasks as required
Ensuring all products are handled with care
Full Training given

Experience / Skills

Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
Mechanical skills and knowledge of production machinery would be beneficial.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair production line equipment would be beneficial - training available.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
