Wisteria Talent is seeking a skilled Paint Technician to join a well-established and reputable bodyshop in Bristol. The ideal candidate will have a IMI Level 3 acccrediation in Paint repair and a minimum of one year of experience as a Paint Technician. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality paintwork on vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing vehicles for painting, including masking, sanding, and priming.

*

Mixing and matching paint colours to ensure an exact match.

*

Applying paint using spray guns and other specialized equipment.

*

Ensuring smooth and even coatings, free of defects.

*

Carrying out final polishing and finishing work.

*

Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets industry and company standards.

*

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

*

Working collaboratively with the bodyshop team to ensure efficient workflow.

Requirements:

*

IMI Level 3 Diploma automotive paint repair

*

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Paint Technician.

*

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

*

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

*

Good communication and organizational skills.

*

Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the automotive industry.
