Position: Sales Manager

Salary: Up to £36,000 basic plus up to £12k bonus + employee benefits + HYBRID, free parking (plus excellent public transport links) 25 days holiday + 12 bank holidays. Pension.

Hybrid set up: 3 days in the office, 2 days WFH (usually Tuesdays and Fridays)

Location: Holywood, Belfast, N. Ireland

The company is entering a period of growth and are now looking to appoint and experienced Sales Manager.

SALES MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will be responsible for the annual advertising sales and sponsorship budget
Generating digital, print and sponsorship revenues for the magazine brand
Achieve agreed sales targets
Identify and develop new business from the core target market as well as new business sectors.
You will build relationships and develop a large existing client base.
Prepare high quality proposals and client correspondence
You will be a creative thinker and be able to generate new business ideas.
Develop and deliver quality presentations to clients.
Contribute to the strategic development of the Penton Media Group business
You'll have a finger on the pulse of developments in media and commercial advertising sectors plus the wider business marketplace.
Coach, train, encourage and motivate other members of the sales team.What background and experience are the company looking for?

Minimum of 3 years' experience in media sales or a similar direct sales environment.
Proven track record of success in a competitive sales environment.
Proven experience of prospecting and delivering new business.
