The Company

My client is a specialist products manufacturer supplying into a variety of industries. They deliver exceptional levels of service because of working closely with each customer to understand the specific needs of their business.

Through continued growth and development they have an excellent opportunity for a Site Production Manager to ensure production processes are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality to achieve operational excellence.

The Role

Reporting to the Managing Director the Production Manager will have the responsibility for operational leadership and ensuring our products are produced in the most efficient way to meet both internal and external customer expectations, delivered correctly, on time and in full.

Other responsibilities will include:

* Managing key KPI’s (People, Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery) to meet business objectives

* Exceeding customer expectations.

* Process optimization – streamlining processes, reducing waste and enhancing overall efficiencies

* Implementation of Lean Manufacturing methodologies

* Health, Safety and Environmental performance and compliance

* Building strong internal relationships with other departments

* Resource management, labour utilisation and performance management

* Training, coaching, mentoring & developing your team

The Candidate

The ideal Production Manager will be from a medium to high-volume manufacturing environment and have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.

You will be detail oriented, proactive and resilient.

You are already a proven leader who delivers results through engaging with your team. You are process disciplined, able to initiate and drive Change and capable of making good autonomous decisions. You will have the desire to progress and develop your career.

You are organised and able to prioritise to achieve the required results and have a practical approach to problem-solving
