Are you an experienced Facilities Assistant looking for an immediate temporary role? A welcoming and vibrant primary school in Maidstone is seeking a reliable and proactive Facilities Assistant to support the school on a 13-week temporary basis.
Key Responsibilities:
? General maintenance and repairs around the school
? Ensuring the premises are safe, clean, and well-maintained
? Carrying out health & safety checks and compliance tasks
? Assisting with site security, including locking/unlocking the school
? Supporting with minor plumbing, carpentry, and decorating tasks
Requirements:
✔ Previous maintenance/facilities experience
✔ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔ A proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving
