Audit & Accounts Senior (Accountancy Practice)

Location: Wantage, Oxfordshire 

Salary: £48k - £50k (DOE) + Excellent Benefits

Job Type: Full-Time, Monday - Friday

The Client:

Our client is a well-established accountancy firm, offering comprehensive financial solutions tailored to meet diverse needs.

The Role:

As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will be preparing client accounts, undertaking audits, and managing tax returns.

Responsibilities:

Provide input on personal tax returns.
Prepare year-end journals for clients' accountancy systems.
Handle VAT calculations and returns.
Produce management accounts within deadlines.
Conduct client meetings as needed.
Support and develop junior team members.
Identify additional value opportunities for clients.

Requirements:

Previously worked as an Audit Senior, Accounts Senior or in a similar role.
At least 1-3 years of practice experience.
Minimum 1 year of audit experience.
Possess ACA / ACCA or equivalent qualification.
Understanding of practice-based accountancy.
Skilled in IT.
Strong team working and communication skills.
Right to work in the UK.
