TPT2280 Logistics Manager

My client is a very well established manufacturer of goods who are based in Hatfield, Herts. They are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to manage the logistics, warehouse, shipping ara’s and operational side of stock, order picking and dispatch in their dedicated building.

Managing the Warehouse Manager, your role will be to to oversee the smooth running of the warehouse and shipping areas, managing Health and Safety policies and regulation and provide leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standard of work practices.

Main Responsibilities will include:-

* Training staff on safe work practices and new employee inductions

* Monitor performance and activities within the logistics function using KPI’s

* Producing regular reports and statistics using Excel and their bespoke system

* Increasing efficiency of the departments and staff performance

* Oversee the smooth operation of warehouse, shipping area’s, goods in Product Assembly, Order Picking, Quality checking, packing and despatch

* Manage overhead costs for staff and consumables

* Manage on time supply chain for inbound and outbound goods

Looking for an experience people and process Manager with experience in Logistics, Warehouse and Operations.
