Cedar is partnering with a leading, fast-growing bespoke security services company in the search for a talented Finance Manager. This newly created role offers an incredible opportunity to work directly with the Finance Director, lead a team of three, and play a pivotal role in shaping the finance function.
The responsibilities of the Finance Manager are:
Month-End: Lead the preparation of management accounts (P&L by contract, balance sheet reconciliations, cashflow) for one trading company and two group entities.
Financial Planning: Support quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting.
Collaboration: Review accounts with operations managers and present at monthly board meetings.
Payroll & Invoicing: Oversee payroll processes, ensure timely invoicing, and handle ad-hoc sales invoice queries.
Compliance: Manage PAYE and VAT submissions and liaise with auditors for statutory accounts.
Process Oversight: Review supplier payment runs and maintain robust financial controls.
The successful candidate will have the following:
Qualifications: ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified.
Experience: Strong track record in line management and a hands-on finance role.
Tech Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel; Sage 50/Sage Payroll experience is a bonus.
What's on Offer for the Finance Manager:
Competitive Package: £70,000 salary + 5% pension contribution + 25 days annual leave (plus Bank Holidays).
Hybrid Working: 4 days in the North-West London office, 1 day in Central London, and 1 day remote.
