About the role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work primarily with children in Early Years (EYFS) and Key Stage 1, providing tailored support to help them access the curriculum and develop essential social, emotional, and academic skills. This role demands patience, creativity, and a deep understanding of SEN, making it an excellent fit for someone with prior experience in similar settings. While a formal qualification in SEN is preferred, hands-on experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to monitor and report on student progress.
• Support the classroom environment, helping to maintain focus and engagement.
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional resilience in students.
