Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a Maths Teacher for Secondary Schools in Macclesfield, Cheshire. This role is to start as soon as possible.

The Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Maths Teacher to deliver engaging and effective lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. As part of a dedicated department, you will inspire students to develop a deep understanding of mathematics and foster a positive attitude towards the subject. The role offers the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of students and be part of a school that values innovation and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all students.

Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.

Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.

Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Maths department to enhance teaching strategies and student outcomes.

Contribute to the wider school community, including attending staff meetings and supporting extracurricular activities where appropriate.

The Ideal Candidate:

A qualified teacher with a specialism in Maths (QTS or equivalent).

A passion for teaching and inspiring students to excel in Mathematics.

A positive and proactive approach to classroom management.

Strong communication and organisational skills.

The ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Previous experience in teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and 4 is desirable.
