Our client is seeking a skilled Development Engineer to join our Aftertreatment Engineering Team. This contract role focuses on developing IC engine components and aftertreatment solutions for Off-highway applications.

Role: Design and Development Engineer
Experience: 3+ years
Location: Peterborough (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)
Contract: 12 months
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and validate IC engine components and emissions modules.
Work with global teams, suppliers, and manufacturing sites.
Solve quality and manufacturing issues with innovative solutions.
Lead FMEA, risk identification, and validation planning.
Support field and production issue resolution.

Skills & Experience:

HNC/Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering preferred.
Experience in aftertreatment systems, emissions modules, and IC engines.
Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, 6 Sigma, and APQP tools.
Proficiency in Team Centre and Microsoft O365.
