Senior Electronic Design Engineer | £40-55k | Cardiff | Hybrid

My client is seeking a Senior Electronic Design Engineer to join its R&D team.

You’ll play a key role in developing next-gen products, working on complex, high-impact projects that shape the future of technology.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Lead the design, development & testing of electronic systems from concept to mass production.

+ Collaborate cross-functionally with suppliers, customers & internal teams to meet project requirements.

+ Ensure compliance with EMC, ESD, and safety standards in all designs.

+ Mentor and support engineers

Essential Skills & Experience:

+ Bsc in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (or equivalent experience)

+ Strong understanding of RF system design, or significant experience.

+ Expertise in PCB design (Zuken, Altium, or KiCAD preferred) & circuit simulation.

+ Strong background in EMC/ESD testing & fault finding at the component level.

+ Hands-on proficiency with test equipment & troubleshooting tools.

Bonus (Desirable Skills):

+ Knowledge of home appliance products.

+ Experience leading engineering teams & projects.
