CNC Machinist – Precision Engineering

Location: Leeds

Salary: £30,500

Hours: 37 per week, day shift

An established precision engineering company in Leeds is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge CNC technology, machining high-performance materials in a modern, well-equipped facility.

The Role:

Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-precision components

Optimise performance using Fanuc controls

Work with challenging materials, including Inconel

Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accuracy

Collaborate with the quality team to maintain high standards

What You’ll Need:

Experience as a CNC Setter/Operator in a precision engineering environment

Proficiency with Fanuc or Haas controls, including G & M codes

Experience machining exotic materials (preferred)

Background in CNC milling or turning—both considered

A team-oriented approach with a strong focus on quality and efficiency
