Health and Safety Advisor – ICC/Vox/Arenas

Basis – Full time

The NEC Group Health and Safety team have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to provide professional Health and Safety advice and support to our Conventions and Arenas teams. Working closely with the venue operations teams at the ICC, Vox, Utilita Arena and BP Pulse Live Arena this role:

Contributes to departmental Health and Safety planning and ensuring the implementation of inspection initiatives
Conducts accident investigations, compile reports and make recommendations
Develops, implements and monitors Health and Safety initiatives
Provides risk management advise and tailored support

About You

We are looking for someone who has a recognised Health and Safety qualification (minimum NGC) with proven operational safety experience – ideally within Arenas or a similar, public facing environment. You will need to be able to handle sensitive situations professionally. If you have a qualification in noise assessment competency, laser equipment, or pyrotechnic displays then even better. The role holder will need to maintain awareness of Health and Safety legislation and its impact on the Company and be willing to work flexibly to cover weekends, evenings and other unsociable hours when operationally required.
