Design Project Manager (Renewable Energy)
We are looking for a highly skilled Design Project Manager to lead client-focused construction design management for large-scale wind and solar projects. You will oversee a team of engineers, ensuring safety in design and compliance with CDM Regulations, and act as the PD or PSDP contact when required.
Responsibilities of Design Project Manager:
* Lead a team of civil engineers, ensuring design and engineering services meet safety, quality, cost, and timeline requirements.
* Align team resources and capabilities with company needs.
* Stay updated on technology relevant to renewable energy projects, providing necessary training and experience.
* Develop efficient team systems and processes, ensuring compliance with business requirements.
* Mitigate risk exposure through effective strategies.
* Foster best practices across different markets and business units.
Key Requirements: To excel in this role, you should have:
* Extensive civil engineering knowledge, with a focus on renewable energy and practical experience.
* Strong leadership and cross-functional project management, including staff management and risk mitigation.
* Expertise in renewable energy technologies, industry standards (e.g., UK CDM), and commercial awareness (contracts, cost control).
* Effective time management, presentation skills, and experience coordinating design efforts for renewable energy projects.
