Consilium Recruit is exclusively partnering a leading engineering & manufacturing group who specialise in innovative solutions & products to the EV and clean energy sectors. Due to the award of new programs, they have a number of new vacancies to join their expanding team and are currently recruiting for an experienced Software Test & Integration Engineer.
Location: Coventry, Birmingham, Leamington Spa, Warwick (hybrid working)

The Role
Design and development of testing plans for SW characterisation and V&V.
Perform testing activities, utilising convenient test equipment with strong focus on test automation and continuous
Testing reports and analysis.
Setting up test equipment, including instrumentation and test automation.
Documentation of test facilities and test specifications.
Problem investigation and resolution.
Work closely with SW development team(s); ensure test plans are available so that the right facilities are made available at the appropriate time.
Ensure all data and reports are appropriately documented.
Assist in developing SW release / sign off criteria.
Ensure that the appropriate test standards are applied and are updated as technology progresses.
The Candidate
Ideally a minimum of 5 years relevant SW testing experience.
Experienced in set up and running of testing equipment, including instrumentation and measurement equipment.
Demonstrating depth of knowledge in SW integration, verification, and validation.
Achieving results through effective teamwork, collaborating with cross functional teams showing ability to overcome cultural barriers.
Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
Demonstrates understanding of good H&S practice.
Good working knowledge of test automation tools.
Familiar with CAN analysis tools (e.g. CANalyser), calibration tools, instrumentation, and data loggers. MATLAB/Simulink experience would be useful.
