Job Title: Sales Specialist – Flooring
Location: Glasgow - On-Site
Salary: Up to £35,000 + Monthly Performance Bonus

We are currently recruiting for our clients specialist flooring company. Our client is dedicated to providing high-quality LVT, wood, carpet and laminate flooring solutions to residential customers.

As a growing business, they pride ourselves on excellent customer service, expert product knowledge and a hands-on approach to their work. We are now looking for a motivated Sales Specialist to join the team and help drive their continued success.

The Role

As a Sales Specialist, you will be the face of the business, working closely with customers to understand their flooring needs and guiding them through the selection and purchasing process. You’ll also have the opportunity to conduct home visits to assess customer requirements and provide expert recommendations.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a sales background, ideally in the flooring industry. However, if you have strong sales experience and a passion for learning, you will receive comprehensive in-house training to get you up to speed.

Key Responsibilities

Engaging with customers in-store, over the phone and via email to understand their flooring needs.

Providing expert advice on LVT, wood, carpet, and laminate flooring solutions.

*

Conducting home visits to measure spaces and offer tailored recommendations.

*

Managing sales from initial enquiry to final installation, ensuring a seamless customer journey.

*

Assisting with daily operations, including helping to offload deliveries when needed.

*

Building strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.

*

Achieving and exceeding sales targets to maximise earnings through commission.

What We’re Looking For

*

Proven experience in sales, ideally within the flooring or home improvement industry.

*

Knowledge of flooring installation is beneficial

*

Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and close sales.

*

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a small team.

*

Willingness to chip in and help with general tasks around the store.

*

A full UK driving licence (preferred) to carry out home visits.
