Job Title: Health & Safety / Fire Consultant
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire.
Salary / Benefits £30k - £50k + Benefits + Company Vehicle.

We are working closely with a Yorkshire based provider of Health & Safety services and due to continued success, they are now seeking to take on an observant and dedicated Health and Safety / Fire Consultant. The successful candidate will have good access to the M62 and will have extensive experience working on Commercial, Healthcare, Educational, Residential, and Leisure sites to carry out Health and Safety / Fire Risk Assessments in line with client requirements. The successful candidate will also be confident in providing in depth consultancy support and advice to clients upon completion of assessments, highlighting issues found and ensuring to review and amend any Health and Safety / Fire policies accordingly. Holding experience in CDM would be beneficial to the role, but training can be provided.

Candidates will have good access to West Yorkshire / M62 and surrounding areas: Leeds, Wakefield, Keighley, Halifax, Dewsbury, Morley, Huddersfield, Barnsley, Rotherham, Scunthorpe, Doncaster, Worksop, Harrogate, Selby, Burnley, Blackpool, Preston, Bury, Bolton, Rochdale, Oldham, Manchester, St Helens, Liverpool, Warrington, Stockton, Chester, Crewe, Macclesfield.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Will have a strong background in the Health & Safety / Fire Risk industry.
" Holding an industry recognised qualification is essential to the role e.g. L5/L6 Diploma in Health and Safety and recognised Fire Risk Assessment qualification.
" Able to demonstrate excellent practical knowledge of PAS79 and relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
" Will have excellent time management skills, able to adapt to a busy work environment in line with company and client needs.
" Able to produce detailed reports and provide clients with excellent consultancy advice and support.
" Experience working in CDM would be beneficial to the role.

The Role:
" Visiting a range of Commercial, Healthcare, Educational, Residential, and Leisure sites to carry out type 1 & 3 Fire Risk / Health & Safety Assessments.
" Routinely reviewing and amending client Health & Safety / Fire Risk policies.
" Managing own schedule and allocating write up days to produce reports.
" Working closely with clients to provide excellent technical support and advice in line with PAS79 guidelines, highlighting any issues found during assessments ensuring to rectify in a timely manner.
" Providing excellent Health and Safety / Fire Risk training courses.
" Following safe working practices.
" Conducting in depth investigations when required.
