SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity - Secondary-aged pupils (Maidstone)

Are you an organised SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Maidstone!

This full-time position is available for an immediate start. Although it begins as a temporary long-term role, it has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

We work with a variety of SEN schools across Maidstone and the surrounding areas, so wherever you're based locally, we encourage you to apply!

The Role Involves:

Supporting secondary-aged students with Special Educational Needs, such as ASD, SEMH, and behavioural difficulties
Providing one-on-one and small group support
Assisting class teachers in preparing and delivering lessons and activities
Helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment, including assisting with classroom tasks and resources
Supervising students during school trips and activities
Rephrasing instructions, providing repetition, and offering guidance to help students engage fully with their learningWhat Tradewind Offers You:
