We are currently have a fantastic opportunity for someone who is seeking to take the next step forward in their planning career, one of London's leading main contractors are seeking to bolster their planning department and are keen to meet with ambitious individuals. 

This opportunity will suit someone who has a 2 or 3 years planning experience under their belt and is keen to take on more responsibility and be the hands on point of contact between the planning department and site. You will get the opportunity to work in a new department of a major business, working along side an experienced senior planner with fast track career development on offer.  

Responsibilities: 

Producing fully integrated programmes incorporating all disciplines (i.e. design, commercial, construction) based on output rates & benchmarking, with sufficient time risk allowances, terminal float / buffer to contractual completions and agreement with trade packages and production & monitoring of tender event schedule (TES) / procurement schedule
Producing site logistics, scaffold schedules, temporary power & water requirements, temporary work schedules
Developing information for tender settlements including benchmarking
Reviewing subcontractor programme / logistics information including their compliance with contract conditions
Production of monthly client progressed programmes and any supportive narrative for review and approval by project leads prior to submission
Requirements: 

Have 2/3 years construction planning experience gained within the main contractor environment
You have a solid history of working on tenders and live projects between £5M - £100M+ in value
Degree Educated in related field (nice to have) 
Knowledge of JCT/NEC
