Key Responsibilities:
Developing, reviewing, and designing traffic schemes under the road danger reduction programme.
Consulting with stakeholders and delivering projects where funding has been secured through s106/278 agreements.
Working within a team of 4 permanent engineers on various schemes to reduce road danger and support highway works for new developments.
Collaborating with team members and other departments to achieve project goals.
Providing technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and statutory duties.
Preparing and presenting technical reports and documentation.
Job Requirements:
Experience in designing and delivering traffic and parking projects.
Working knowledge of highways, traffic, and transport-related legislation and practices.
Understanding of statutory duties related to traffic engineering.
Strong project management and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and consultation abilities.
Proficiency in technical report writing and documentation.
Relevant qualification in traffic engineering or a related field.
