Duties & Responsibilities:

Updating all international/national customer pricing within SAP system.

Updating customer new line forms/waste packaging data

Supplying product images to customers on request

Setting up new customer accounts within SAP system

Processing product spec/sample requests

Receive customer orders and enquiries by telephone, email, and EDI

Processing high volumes of orders for all customers - UK, subsidiaries and overseas in the agreed lead time

Handle customer enquiries and resolve any problems that may arise

Agree workload and priorities with Sales Administration Manager

Validation of orders – (e.g., to ensure correct pricing and quantities are input)

Obtain credit approval from wholesalers

Allocation and release of orders

Issue pro-forma Invoices

Deal with document filing in a timely and efficient manner

Liaise with Planning, Factory and Warehouse on relevant issues regarding availability and delivery

Supply stock availability information to Account Managers and customers when required

Coordinate and respond to all correspondence for orders and shipments

Supply delivery information and deal with carrier enquiries

Communicating important feedback from customers internally.

Support training of new members or temporary members of staff into the department

Supporting the account managers with general operations to help reach the team’s objectives

Ensure excellent service is given both internally and externally

Self-motivated to contribute to the success of the department by achieving personal and team KPI’s

Proactively support department growth and make recommendations to improve the customer experience

Comply with Health and Safety responsibilities defined in the company Health and Safety policy and ensure that any specific responsibilities are adequately delegated in their absence.

Contribute to the Continuous Improvement culture of both the department and business

Education and/or Experience

IT literate – Word, Excel

Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage

Numerate with good accuracy and attention to detail

Good basic standard of education required (GCSE level minimum)

A further administration (or similar) qualification would be advantageous

Any IT qualifications would be a benefit (ECDL or similar)
