Our client is currently seeking a skilled CAD Technician with a focus on highways to join their team on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Creating detailed CAD drawings for highway projects, including drainage, active travel, carriageway, and footway designs
Collaborating with engineers to develop and refine CAD models and designs
Ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations in all drawings and designs
Updating and maintaining project documentation and CAD libraries
Assisting in the preparation of technical reports and presentations
Providing support for the design and planning of infrastructure projects
Contributing to the delivery of successful project outcomes through effective communication and team collaboration

Job Requirements:

Experience in CAD design, particularly within the highway sector
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or similar
Understanding of drainage, active travel, and carriageway/footway design principles
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Relevant qualifications in CAD design or similar field
