This role will see the successful candidate join the Test and Inspection department, assessing a range of high voltage instruments such as relays. This role is highly varied, covering electrical, mechanical and function testing.

The Role:

Function testing of relays / instruments using secondary injection test sets, voltage sources and measuring instruments
Checking and testing functionality of circuits using diagrams
Complete goods receipt inspection including from paint to works instructions
Complete mechanical inspections such as tightness of fixings around relays
High voltage insulation tests on pilot wire protection circuits up to 15kV
High voltage insultation tests on busing type insulators and outdoor circuit breakers using 100kV insulation testersThe Person:

Proven experience testing high voltage relays
