Job Description
The Electrical Assembler will be responsible for assembling electrical components, cables, and connectors according to established procedures and specifications. This is a junior role and an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in the electrical assembly industry. You will learn about different types of electrical components, wiring diagrams, and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
* To perform basic electrical assembly in line with the drawings and specifications supplied by the Design Team
* To ensure that machine build times are kept within those budgeted by Production
* Responsible for reporting any quality failures or problems related to the operation of equipment used to perform electrical assembly to the team leader
* To report component shortages to the team leader while making sure there are sufficient supplies of consumable components to perform the tasks required
* To bring forward ideas for process improvements to support Edale’s continuous improvement program
Person Specification
To be successful in your application you will need to:
* Basic knowledge of reading and understanding electrical drawings
* Basic experience with both hand and electrical tools
* Basic experience with panel wiring and electromechanical assembly
* Be able to perform simple soldering tasks and terminate wires as needed for basic electronic repairs

Hours: Monday – Thursday 07:00am – 16:00pm, Friday 07:00am – 12:00pm
