Supply Heroes are looking for an After-School Club Manager/Lead to join a vibrant and friendly primary school in Stirchley, Birmingham. The school are looking for somebody organised and passionate about working with children and running fun and engaging clubs after school. The hours will be 3:00pm-6:00pm, Monday to Friday during school term-time and is therefore perfect for somebody who is only able to commit to something part-time. The role will continue until the end at the academic year (at least).

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver daily engaging and interactive clubs during term-time and designing programs that inspire learning and fun for children.

* Manage the day-to-day operation of after-school clubs, including scheduling.

* Liaise with schools to arrange and manage after-school clubs, ensuring smooth coordination and effective communication.

* Oversee day-to-day staff management, providing support, guidance, and direction to ensure clubs run efficiently.

* Engage in school outreach activities to establish and schedule new after-school clubs.

* Ensure that the school operates at the highest standards in terms of health and safety, safeguarding, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

* Build strong relationships with parents, guardians, and the local community, promoting active involvement in children's education.

* Foster an inclusive and harmonious work environment where each team member's contributions are valued.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

* Level 2/3 qualification in Child Care/Early Years Education/Teaching Assistant (minimum)

* Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and have the ability to build positive relationships

* Proficient in using computer software for administrative tasks

* Familiarity with cookery or educational programs is advantageous but not essential.
