Are you a qualified solicitor with experience in public law and childcare proceedings? Newcastle City Council is seeking a dedicated and experienced childcare locum solicitor to join their legal services team.

Role Responsibilities:

* Managing a caseload of care proceedings and pre-proceedings.

* Attending court for Case Management Hearings, Issues Resolution Hearings (IRHs), and Final Hearings.

* Handling matters under the Public Law Outline framework.

Requirements:

* Qualified solicitor with demonstrable experience in childcare law and public law processes.

* Ability to work full-time (37 hours), either across 5 days or in a compressed 4-day week.

* Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders effectively.
