Position: Machining Supervisor

Location: West Midlands

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Excellent Benefits

The Company: Our client is a cutting-edge, multi-disciplined design and engineering leader, specialising in providing automation engineering services and solutions across diverse industries.

Due to sustained continued expansion, they are now seeking a Machining Supervisor to be responsible for the flow of work through the Machining Department and completion of work to project deadline demands.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Forecast labour and equipment requirements for work to be scheduled.

* Day-to-day management of direct reports, along with technical, professional and personal development.

* Leading improvement activity within the department.

* Setting and operating Haas TM-2P CNC mill (Fanuc controls)

* Complete programming using Openmind Hypermill or similar CAD/CAM package.

The Person: Candidates suitable for consideration should be able to provide evidence of the following:

* A HNC / HND / Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)

* Setting and operating Haas TM-2P CNC mill (Fanuc controls).

* Programming using Openmind Hypermill or similar CAD/CAM package.

You will be self motivated, have excellent communication skills both written and oral, be computer literate, and able to work as part of a team.

The successful candidate will enjoy a salary of £35,000 to £45,000 plus excellent prospects and an employment package that you would expect from a company that values its employees.
