We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and dedicated Early Years Manager to join our vibrant team and lead the early years setting to new heights.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Early Years setting
- ensure the highest standards of care, education, and safety for children aged 0-5 years
- develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- foster strong relationships with parents, staff, and external partners to support each child's development
- ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements, including safeguarding and health and safety
- manage and mentor a team of early years practitioners, providing support, guidance, and development opportunities
- oversee the planning, monitoring, and assessment of children’s learning and development
- staff recruitment and provision of ongoing training in best practice
- developing and maintaining the nursery budget
- promotion and development of the nursery on the ongoing basis, including dealing with enquiries and any questions from parents and staff
- ensure regular observations and updates are provided to parents and carers about their child’s progress and behaviour
- understanding of funding
- preparing the nursery for Ofsted inspections and following inspector recommendations
- work closely with senior management to develop strategic plans for the setting, including enrolment and staffing.
**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Level 3 qualification or higher in Early Years Education or Childcare (essential)
- proven experience in a leadership role within an Early Years setting in the UK
- strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- excellent communication and leadership skills
- ability to manage a team effectively and inspire staff to achieve high standards
- a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and policies
- current DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
