Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Location: Rotherham

Salary: £95 to £120 per day

Start: ASAP

GSL Education are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a vibrant school in Rotherham.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive learning environment, delivering pre-set lessons, and ensuring students stay engaged and on task. This is an excellent opportunity for those passionate about education, whether you're considering a teaching career or simply want to contribute to students' academic success.

Responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor:

Supervise students during teacher absences and ensure they remain on task.
Deliver pre-set lesson plans across a variety of subjects.
Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
Support students in completing their work to the best of their ability.
Report on class progress and any issues to teaching staff.

Requirements of the Cover Supervisor:

Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Confidence in supervising and engaging with students.
Ability to follow pre-set lesson plans and instructions.
Flexibility and adaptability to cover various subjects.
A passion for education and supporting students' learning progress

Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
