In this newly created position, this is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys implementing systems (including a new Inventory Management system), building processes from the ground up and is eager to play a key role in the transformation of a business with significant growth potential.

Their business is at a pivotal stage of expansion, and we are looking for a strong finance leader to help navigate this journey. Based near Belfast, this is a fantastic chance to work on-site, directly influencing the overall strategy and future direction of the company.

Why This Role?

As Finance Director, you will be an integral part of the SMT, working closely with the MD and other senior leaders to shape the strategic direction of the business. You will oversee the entire finance function, including Financial Planning & Analysis, compliance, governance, risk management, and quality control of tenders.

What We’re Looking For:

A seasoned finance leader with a proven track record in delivering strategic financial management.

Proactive approach to change management and transformation.

Experience in managing and developing high-performing finance teams.

Strong commercial acumen, with a deep understanding of how finance can support business strategy and growth.

Expertise in risk management, governance, and compliance.

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders at all levels.

Proven experience of helping a business to scale (ideally in the Construction, Engineering, Renewable or Manufacturing sectors)

A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with a forward-thinking approach.
