Interim Head of Estates and Facilities - Local Authority

In this key role, you will oversee the strategic management of council-owned properties, facilities, and assets, ensuring they meet operational and regulatory standards. You will drive efficiency, lead a dedicated team, and contribute to shaping the future of our public estate.

Key Responsibilities:

Creation of new asset strategies
Lead the management of estates, facilities, and property services
Ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental, and legal standards
Manage budgets and deliver cost-effective solutions
Drive service improvements and enhance the quality of public sector facilitiesRequirements:

Proven experience in estates and facilities management, ideally within the public sector
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices
