Kitchen Assistant, WC2 London, £28k Monday to Friday daytime

Our client is recruiting for a strong and motivated Kitchen Assistant to join their team based at this site based in WC2 London.

In this role, you will be
* Working alongside the Head Chef
* Responsible for washing up (dishwasher and manual) as well as general cleaning of the kitchen
* Assisting the Head Chef with basic food prep
* Supporting on basic cooking (trained will be provided)

This role would be ideal for someone who has good kitchen experience and would like to progress in cooking as well.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm (daytime only). Paid overtime

Our ideal candidate would
* be an enthusiastic and experienced Kitchen Assistant with a min of 2 years' experience in a busy professional kitchen
* have worked in contract catering or similar
* have previous catering and hospitality experience (essential)
* have excellent communication and organisational skills
* be willing to learn and progress within catering
* be friendly and flexible with a positive can do attitude
