Are you an experienced Electrical Estimator looking to join a dynamic, family-owned business? We are a well-established electrical contractor based in Hull, specializing in multi-million-pound projects across the retail, education, and industrial sectors. We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Estimator to become a key part of our team and contribute to our continued success on high-value projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical installations on large-scale retail, education, and industrial projects.

* Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to determine material, labor, and time requirements.

* Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates align with project objectives and are comprehensive.

* Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing, ensuring estimates reflect current market conditions.

* Present estimates to senior management and clients, providing clear and concise explanations for costings.

* Update and refine estimates as project details evolve, maintaining accuracy and transparency throughout the process.

* Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the estimating process, identifying opportunities for greater efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator, with a strong background in large-scale projects, particularly in the retail, education, or industrial sectors.

* Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, installation practices, and industry standards.

* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex specifications and drawings.

* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with the skill to build strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.

* High attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate and competitive estimates.

* Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office Suite.
