Primary School Teaching Assistant - Grantham

Simply Education is seeking a dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Grantham. This is a full-time, long-term temporary position, supporting learners aged 4 to 11 years old. There is some flexibility for the right candidate, and the role offers a competitive daily pay rate of £77 to £95 per day.

The Role:

Support classroom learning across Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.
Provide 1:1 support for children who need additional help, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Assist in delivering engaging lessons and activities under the guidance of the class teacher.
Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Support children with their academic, social, and emotional development.

Previous experience working with primary-aged children in a school or similar setting.
A passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient and nurturing approach, particularly when working with SEN learners.
A reliable and adaptable attitude.
